Juraj Dubovský

Senior Associate
Juraj Dubovský represents clients in judicial and arbitral proceedings, and also specialises in insolvency and restructurings.
In dispute resolution Juraj represents clients in complex judicial and arbitral proceedings in the Czech Republic and abroad.
In the area of restructurings and insolvency he advises clients on issues related to insolvency, and represents clients in insolvency proceedings and adversary disputes.
Prior to joining our law firm, Juraj worked for more than five years at major international law firms in Prague. He also briefly worked in an international law firm based in Washington, D.C. In his practice, Juraj has primarily focused on the resolution of complex international disputes in judicial and arbitral proceedings, and on IP/IT and telecommunication law. Apart from practicing law, he also worked in the field of international development and humanitarian law in Israel and Slovakia.


  • advising on numerous complex disputes in the energy sector, including disputes relating to the support and production of energy from renewable resources, and disputes of major Czech energy companies in connection with foreign acquisitions
  • advising on disputes in the telecommunications and media sector, especially in the ground-breaking dispute for damages based on abuse of dominance, in a dispute involving validity of a television broadcasting license, and a dispute with a major international telecom company for payment of stock price difference in a mandatory takeover bid
  • advising in a complex asset recovery dispute against a major foodstuff company
  • advising a foreign retail company in disputes concerning damages, and in the ensuing insolvency proceedings
  • advising on numerous disputes for damages and other forms of compensation ensuing from the acquisition of one of the Czech Republic’s largest banks
  • advising a major software company on strategic distribution and licensing agreements and contracts for work
  • advising a leader in the telecommunications sector on regulatory and competition matters
